International Students Cell

There is a student’s manual for PSGIMSR students that can be downloaded online, or the manual is sent by mail once the student has been offered an admission. The manual provides important information about how to prepare for studying abroad, and what to expect when they arrive.

This guide covers topics such as providing accommodation, arranging medical insurance, paying tuition fees, obtaining visas, budgeting for living expenses, and what to bring.

The PSG IMSR campus provides a lot of information regarding its online resources, administrative departments, hospital information, sports center, campus facilities, and so on, so when students arrive for the first time they are somewhat less overwhelmed.

As part of our new mentoring scheme, we will match future students up with current students who will then communicate, usually via email or phone (Whatsapp) in the months prior to the start of the course.

Orientation programs Support:

The first few weeks of being an international student are likely to be the most challenging. There’s so much to take in, so many new places and people, and it can take a while to settle in.

PSGIMSR International Relations Office suggests them to arrive few days earlier than the rest of the student body, to give them a chance to get settled and acclimatized before the eventful really begins!

It is during this time when international students attend an orientation program to provide support and information, as well as to get to know one another.

PSGIMSR’s International Student Support Cell can assist students with a variety of other concerns as well.
